Shine On – On Display at Panache Fine Jewelry and Art Gallery in Ogunquit, ME
I heard this song titled “Shine On” by Eric Bibb while driving in my car early one morning. Not only did I like the rhythm of the music, but the lyrics especially resonated with me. For, the music has a sultry and upbeat feeling to it with the guitar very prevalent in its composition. Indeed, it is one of those songs that as soon as you hear a portion of it, you know you are going to like it. So, this is the link if you would like to listen to the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DZvd_OZ_Lvs
I created this painting the evening before hearing this song. While listening to the lyrics, my thoughts drifted back to this particular piece. The painting radiates “Shine On” with its black, brown, and gray mood being overcome by the white and gold positive attitude saying shine on, it is all going to work out.
Shine On – Inspirational Song
As the song points out:
“Hard-earned wisdom is something you can’t buy
It’s the wings of experience
That make you fly”
The song is one of those that will keep you shining in the present while moving forward toward a fabulous future. There are so many phrases in the song that are great. Below are the complete lyrics to the song. However, I share the chorus with you here:
“Keep on when your mind says quit
Dream on ’til you find your living it
I’ll be right by your side
Yeah baby keep on
Don’t stop ’til you win your prize
Lean on all the love that is in my eyes
You’re a diamond to me, yes you are
Did you go listen to the song? What do you think of it? You might even find yourself singing the lyrics to yourself.
