The Sun’s Reflections painting was started by first pouring water into a select few acrylic paints and letting the paints sit for a while to allow it to become soft and liquidity. Once the paints were ready, I began to slowly pour the yellow paint onto the canvas and move the paint around by tilting the canvas in different directions. I repeated this process with the other colors. I completed the painting with blending the colors together with a brush.
Once completed and I stepped back and looked at it, the bright brilliant yellow seemed to cast its reflection onto the other colors; hence the title “Sun’s Reflections.
