Abstracts have always intrigued me. Long before I began painting abstracts, I was always drawn to this form of art. I love abstract art because it uses a visual language of shape, form, color and line to create a composition. Furthermore, abstract art has the ability to inspire our curiosity and imagination while creating something completely unique to us.
As you gaze at this painting titled “Intrigue”, perhaps you can see how it got its name. For instance, the yellow, red, black, and white shapes offer a secretive entanglement with the shades of blue. The coolness from the blue shades that intertwined with the warm shades conveys a mysterious feeling as the shapes float and move with each other. In fact, the painting’s compelling qualities seem to be hiding a mystery.
