Artist Talks – Inspirational Short Stories
Hello. I am Red, a contemporary abstract artist. Art and creativity have always been a part of my life. My art is a form of expression to communicate and connect with the world through my canvas. Similarly, each brush stroke has a feeling behind it; and each painting its own story. For each of my creations, I write an inspirational short story, unique to that piece. As a result, sharing my inspirational short stories allows me to connect with you for a deeper more enriched art experience.
Inspiration Through Art and Stories
Art tells a story, but there is often an intriguing tale behind its creation. My narratives are woven with facts about music, interesting tidbits about history, accounts of nature’s inspirational spirit. In addition, I use descriptions of how color influences us. Of course, I also share my life experiences that are intertwined in the painting’s essence.
I write my inspirational short stories to be uplifting, positive and motivational in nature. For it is not just about the colors on the canvas, it’s about the emotion, experience, fact or concept that I want to convey to you, the audience. A work of art has a significant capacity to unite us with history, diverse facts, cultural events, and life touching experiences, while enriching our lives.
In conclusion, abstract art is not only personal to its creator. It is personal for the viewer as well. After you read my art story, it is up to you to provide your own interpretation and connection with the piece, for only you can truly complete the story.
“The emotions are sometimes so strong that I work without knowing it. The strokes come like speech.” Vincent Van Gogh
