I was born Under the Louisiana Moon. A moon that can be a little mysterious, a little fun, a little unreachable, but definitely colorful.

Under the Louisiana Moon, you can see the cypress trees glow in the murky Louisiana swamps. I can look out across the fields and see the sugar cane gleam beneath the moonbeams. And yes, I can dream of dancing in the lovely expansive ballrooms as your partner twirls you out to the big porch to steal a kiss while you gaze up at the moon.

For the Louisiana Moon can cast its spell on you. Making you a little crazy, a little dreamy or perhaps a little melancholy.

 I named this small acrylic painting Under the Louisiana Moon for its elegant feeling of different shapes, textures, angles, and color, all shown with a glow of blue tones. It is like the moon is radiating its glow throughout the painting.
