Oh the 70s, with its Peace, Love mantras and it psychedelic colors. The 70’s were colorful and innovative. The world stood at its most creative precipice of all. Colors and design exploded; television was cool, fashions… famous for bell-bottoms and everything else in general was just plain “Far out.”
So after creating this particular painting with its colors and psychedelic feeling, all I could think of was the 70s and the 5th Dimension’s Song “Aquarius/ Let the Sunshine In”.
When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius
