What is art leasing?
Art leasing places original artwork in your space for a monthly fee rather than an upfront purchase. You choose the work with Red's help, she arranges delivery and installation, and the terms are confirmed in a written leasing agreement before anything is installed.
How much does it cost to lease original art for an office?
Monthly rates depend on the size and the specific painting. For instance, accent-scale work of roughly 24 to 36 inches runs $45 to $90 per month (per piece), statement work of 40 to 60 inches runs $95 to $225, and large-scale work of 60 inches and larger runs $150 to $350. Multi-piece placements and commissioned work are quoted as a custom proposal.
What size artwork works in a reception area or waiting room?
It depends on the wall, the furniture in front of it and how far away people stand. That is the reason the process starts with photos and approximate dimensions rather than a catalog — Red recommends scale based on the actual room.
Do you deliver and install the artwork?
Delivery and installation arrangements are included in your placement proposal, so the cost and the logistics are settled before you agree to anything.
Can we lease more than one piece?
Yes. Placements range from a single reception-area painting to coordinated groups of works across an entire building. Multi-piece placements are quoted individually.
Can we buy a painting we are leasing?
Yes. A percentage of lease payments can be credited toward the purchase of the painting. Red sets it out in your placement proposal.
How long is the lease, and what are the terms?
Leases run from nine months through a year. Artwork may be swapped for a different painting once during the lease term. Every placement is confirmed in a written leasing agreement before anything is installed, and the final terms are set out in that agreement.
Can Red paint something for our space?
Yes. Commissioned work is painted to match your interior design theme or colors, and it can be leased or purchased outright. Commissions are quoted per project.
Which areas do you serve?
In-person delivery and installation in Orlando and Jacksonville. Artwork ships to other Florida cities when the client covers shipping and installation.
We do not know anything about art. Is that a problem?
No. Most clients do not know which painting they want. Send photos of your walls or approximate dimensions and any specific colors you prefer, and Red will provide you some options.
