Live With Red is a painting that I created at my very first live art performance. I wasn’t sure how I would like painting in front of strangers, but I must say it was a great and easy experience.
The setting was just perfect. Who couldn’t get inspired painting among nature and surrounded by gorgeous trees? With a little help from music that played in the background, I was soon immersed in my creativity.
Included are a few pics of me painting live at the Nehrling Gardens Owl Prowl Art & Wine Wander in October at Gotha, Fl. The event was to raise money for the Gardens.
So, if you gaze upon this colorful abstract with tones of Red, Turquoise, Greens, Dark Blues accompanied with accents of White and strokes of Orange you might be able to feel I was in a happy space. I named the painting “Live with Red” since it seemed to tell its story just perfectly.
It was fun to paint surrounded by nature. A welcoming experience and one I hope to repeat.
