Red’s Adventure

Creating my art is such an adventure. I love spending time in my studio, painting and listening to a variety of music. I even have a great view of nature. So, any chance I can escape to my art studio is a joyous time. Just walking into the studio makes me feel good. Each day is a different undertaking.

You can sometimes find me peeking into the studio windows to review some of my recent creations. As an artist, I am always looking to improve my work. You never know what painting might get another touch of my paint brush.

Through my artwork, I have met new people, gained new friends and discovered more about myself. My artwork has taken me on new journeys, and I am happy to say, my best artist’s assistance, my husband, is with me on many of these occasions.

Red’s Adventure – New Collectors, New Directions

I am thankful for my new collectors. Especially the ones who have requested a specific composition or subject matter that I have not created before. I have found myself and my art moving into new directions and creating paintings that I would have not considered before. Being open to new challenges, new paths has only enhanced my life, my creations and given me adventures that I would have never dreamed of. For that, I am truly thankful.

Indeed, art is an extraordinary world with unlimited boundaries, opening doors to imagination, creativity and spirit. This is my world. My expression with paints, bringing life to a canvas is what I do.

My art is an adventure, at times daring, whimsical, passionate, and challenging; but always expressive. Just like this large mixed media contemporary abstract that I titled “Red’s Adventure”.

There will never be enough time to experience all the depths, excitement and splendor of creating art. I cherish each day I paint to explore and reveal the nature of Red.
