You probably already know that I usually listen to music while I paint. I also reflect back on my paintings while listening to music without painting. I was searching for a title for this particular artwork when I heard this song. With this painting’s intense red features, I think of a fire and then my eyes move to the swirling blues below; and I see the flood. And perhaps just as the song and video may be portraying, there are sometimes unstoppable forces of nature, which we have to contend with and absorb their unknowing destruction.
