Art is forever Timeless

Timeless by Red was a Competition Winner in the 2021 Art Competition at Contemporary Art Gallery Online.

There are many articles and various opinions on whether art is timeless. But, I believe it definitely is. For Artists are communicators; and I feel there will always be someone wishing to communicate through his/her artistic creations.  Perhaps, Art in the future may very well be created significantly different then today’s art or yesterdays; but the idea of art is timeless.

Ideas, concepts, and emotions are all conveyed in forms of art whether it be sculptures, paintings, pottery, or graphic design. The ideas or emotions expressed with art are ones that are experienced universally making its value independent of age or time.  Art is a beautiful labor of love, and love and beauty are two of those things that expand exponentially as they weave themselves through the ages in a forever fashion.

There is always a place for art and a natural need for art. For we as humans have an inherit need to communicate and some of us do this through our art. The quality or experience of art is timeless; and I cannot see a day when art in some form or fashion will not exist.

This painting was titled “Timeless” for it has no beginning or end as the edges are blurred where one can move between the different shapes, light or darkness, sky or ocean.
