Amber Glow
The room was quiet until Amber Glow found its place upon the wall. At first glance, its deep brown background seemed to hold its secrets close, like the earth just before sunrise. But as the viewer steps nearer, ribbons of gold, soft white, cool gray, and brilliant turquoise emerged from the shadows. Created with expressive brushes and textured palette knives across a 60-by-20 gallery wrap canvas, the painting revealed itself slowly, rewarding curiosity with a warmth that could not be seen from afar.
