Listening to this song with its high energy beat and watching Bruce perform, your spirits can’t help be uplifted. Maybe even get you out of your chair for a little dancing too. If you haven’t watched this particular performance, I highly recommend it. When Bruce brings his mother out on stage, it’s priceless.

So, if you need a little rock and roll and more importantly, something to get you moving, try this song. It is only a click a way to move you to a brighter mental state. I think you will see that Bruce puts heart, soul, love, and inspiration into his concert.

For, it is hard to believe the song was released in 1984. It said that Springsteen wrote this about his difficulty writing a hit single and his frustration trying to write songs that will please people. Ironically, the song was a hit single – the biggest of his career in terms of US chart position. Indeed, the song never grows old; and the video is a fabulous live performance from an all-time excellent artist who just shines with talent.
