Essences of Red

The freedom to express my creativity through my abstract artwork is the essence of my spirit. Red is a very emotionally intense and passionate color with lots of energy and that pretty well sums me up. This painting, with their textured layers were created by adding several different applications of acrylic and water to the canvas.

The colors of blue, green, and even yellow help to balance out the intensity of the red giving the paintings an overall soft, happy and vibrant appeal.
