Mischievous – A Bold, Colorful Abstract
I think we all want to be a little dazzling, a little playful and a little mischievous at times. I am not one to always play by life’s rules. My roguish spirit and strong-willed attitude often prevail; but I always mean well. As an abstract artist, I think it is part of the process to take risks in your creations, to allow yourself to be mischief in your approach to painting. For one may never know what she can invent without a daring spirit.
This particular painting definitely screams a lighthearted spirit. Notice how the playful colors of blue, orange, gold, yellow, and green along with a splash of white are dancing around the canvas as the red tones show their bold vibrant side. Furthermore, all the colors have a feeling of daring and mischief as they enliven the red background. As a result, a Mischievous – Bold, Colorful Abstract came to life.
