Simplicity
“In character, in manner, in style, in all things, the supreme excellence is simplicity.”
– Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
Simplicity is harmonious. It offers us clarity through pureness. Simple doesn’t mean unintelligent. Just the opposite. Even Leonardo Da Vinci said “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” After all, by simplifying our life, the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
A more simplified life is a much healthier life which allows us to be more attuned to who we really are – to focus on our priorities and do the things we love. Simplifying our life has a different meaning and a different value for each of us. Obtaining simplicity isn’t a simple process. It’s a journey, rather than a destination.
“That’s been one of my mantras – focus and simplicity. Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it’s worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains.” – Steve Jobs
“Our life is frittered away by detail.
Simplify, Simplify . . .” ~ Henry David Thoreau
