Sundance
The sun’s evening dance across the sky is also our dance of life. For each sunset that passes is also a memory, experience added to our own life that is truly unique.
Indeed, the sunset can offer hope, wonder, majestic exquisiteness, and definitely represent beginnings or endings. I believe there is nothing more musical than a sunset. So why not take time to watch it dance with the sky. It gracefully leaves it mark of beauty as it moves and sways with the clouds.

For centuries, the beauty of sunsets continues to inspire people and their creations. Without being consciously aware, I often unintentionally create an abstract representing a sunrise or sunset. For something deep within me, calls to the canvas a sunrise or sunset. Often, artists and photographers try to capture the glory of a setting sun; but I don’t think we will ever capture the effect a beautiful sunset has on our emotions. It just seems, a sunset immediately makes everything dramatic.

I named this painting “Sundance” since it expresses a sunset with its glorious colors and hues dancing across the canvas. For the horizon is richly colored by the drops and drips of the brilliant sun as it lingers over the landscape. You might even think its reflection is dancing upon a crystal blue lake. As the sun paints its away across the canvas, the water caught fire to reflect the beauty back to the sun. As each sunset dances, may you cherish its brilliance and keep its passion for excellence in your soul.
