Bold and Beautiful are two words that come to mind when I gaze upon this acrylic painting. First, bold because of the brilliant, vibrant colors that just scream look at me. Then, beautiful for the feeling of how the shapes and colors dance across the canvas to create interest.

Now, look at the few splashes of yellow, red, and even white that streak through the painting to further represent bold strokes. Do you see them?

Bold and Beautiful Acrylic Painting

Beauty is not being like everyone else. For, it is the uniqueness in us that creates a special kind of beauty. Like this acrylic abstract with its large shapes that are accented with awareness by the smaller lively color forms. Additionally, the smaller shape movements flow in different directions but together with the larger brightly color shapes to tell the painting’s story.

There is no definition of beauty, but when you can see someone’s spirit coming through, something unexplainable, that’s beautiful to me. Liv Tyler

So, I think an artist has beauty through creating with confidence and being bold to let the true inner voice reflect in her work. Her spirit is revealed through her creations. Artists are a form of visionaries and to be a visionary you have to be daring. My abstract titled “Bold and Beautiful” represents me being me – a little courageous.
