Something that is striking is very noticeable or unusual. This painting’s interest and strength doesn’t rest with the blending of the shapes and shades of red. Because what makes the painting most unusual is the dynamic yellow brush strokes prominently displayed on the left side of the painting. Even, the quality of the painting is enhanced by its differences, not its similarities. For instance, the limited small blue color shapes that are intersperse into the painting add to the paintings overall appeal and balances the intense red.
