The Happy Artist is not about every creation coming together each time I paint. It is more about as an artist I am happy to have the opportunity to follow my passion and create vibrant contemporary abstracts.

Being a practiced artist, I find fulfillment, joy, peace, and a huge sense of freedom and fun by following my intuitive voice and letting my creations take me to new and unique modes of self-expression.

As an artist, I believe in myself and have the drive and determination to be the best artist I can be. I won’t always be happy with what I create but I learn from the experiences.  My adventures, at times are daring, whimsical, passionate, and challenging; but always expressive.  My life centers around my artistic expression which is deeply embedded into my day-to-day world where there is no clear line where art ends and everything else begins.

Another element of a Happy Artist is the heart-warming encouragement and flattering compliments and accolades that I receive from my collectors, gallery owners, other artists, friends, and family. Oh, what a treasure to know my art is appreciated and has touched so many.

The Happy Artist Abstract

So being a happy artist is not about ‘being happy’ all the time. But recognizing the glorious opportunity I have to make a difference in the art world with my creations and for so many to bring a piece of me into their homes, offices, and life.

Indeed, this vibrant, colorful acrylic abstract is titled “The Happy Artist” to remind me I have choices and a freedom to express my inner voice and creative spirit through my canvas. This painting with its unrestricted directions to create excitement and expressive movements just conveys pure delight.
