Lost the Path, But Not My Way

There are times when I have stumbled and lost my way. This does not apply to my day to day activities. Oh no, it is about my dreams and future desires. For the road to our dreams is long, challenging, and unexpected. Our dreams are often at odds with our realities, demanding freedoms and resources we may not have. But this doesn’t make them impossible to achieve.
I believe the path from dreams to success does exist. Feeling unsure and lost is part of my path. I need to continue with my vision to find it, to have the courage to ignore the naysayers, and have the inner strength and perseverance to follow it.
For I know, I will always have obstacles and challenges, many daunting, where I may slip and lose my way, but in the end with belief in oneself and desire to hold on to my dreams, I will find my way.
Perhaps, I need to follow Venus Williams quote: “I don’t focus on what I’m up against. I focus on my goals and I try to ignore the rest”.
The painting titled “Lost the Path, But Not My Way” is soothing with it warm colors and dense foliage – like a walk in the forest to refresh our minds, connect with nature and remember that we may not see the path ahead of us clearly, we may even stumble and temporarily lose our way; but with belief in our aspirations, we will find the way to our dreams.

I think one of my favorite paintings is “Lost the path but not my way!”..In our lives we all have paths to choose to help realize what life is all about! Invoking dreams and aspirations we all wish to obtain..when I study the painting my mind reflects on a forest and in that forest there is light filtering through and lightness of a path that seems to ensure a feeling of being on the right path..that the right direction was taken on fulfilling life’s destiny…
