“You can always find me Where The Skies Are Blue”

Blue skies are so simple and yet so beautiful and mysterious. And yes, I think we often find inspiration by looking up to the sky. Not only are blue skies pleasing to the eyes, but I think they are soothing to the soul.

Don’t you think that the sky inspires us in many ways? For with its many shades of heavenly colors, the sky suggests optimism, dreaming, peace, strength, and a connection with the atmosphere and the universe at large.

“At sunrise, the blue sky paints herself with gold colors and joyfully dances to the music of a morning breeze.” – Debasish Mridha.

Looking at the sky on a bright sunny day can be a relaxing experience. In fact, most of us find blue skies captivating and peaceful; but apart from their beauty, they are a source of inspiration too. In just a few moments, the sky reminds us that all things are possible.

“The sky, a perfect empty canvas, offers clouds nonetheless. They shift and drift and beg interpretation… such is the nature of art.”- Jeb Dickerson.

One final tidbit, perhaps you recognized the phrase “You can always find me Where The Skies Are Blue” from the song that “The Lumineers” sang.

Have you listened to this band?  They have some great songs, like “Ho Hey”, Ophelia, Cleopatra, Gloria and of course, the song “Where the Skies are Blue”.  I definitely like this band. I find them to be quite talented and an upbeat band.

This song makes me happy, a bit melancholy, and a little sad all at once. I even love the mandolin in the background in this song. So, if you haven’t listened to it why not give it a try.
