Perhaps as you gaze upon this small acrylic painting with its shades of dark colors that is clearly overtaken by shades of light, you have an understanding of why I titled this painting “Out of the Darkness.” For, I truly believe we all have times of darkness, but it is the hope of future light that gives us courage to continue along our unknown paths. Indeed, if we can have light in our heart and look for the goodness in the world, you can traverse out of those darker periods.

When you’re caught up in the storm or the turmoil of everything, knowing that there is another side can keep you going and allow you to get through it. Even, periods of darkness are opportunities to see what we are made of, to find our inner strength and stability to make it back to the brighter side of life.
