The Spell of Red

Red is such a powerful color that we can easily be drawn into its spell. For example, if you gaze upon this acrylic painting, your eyes are immediately drawn to the bold strokes and shapes of the color red. Then once the red aspects of the painting have captured your attention your eyes then begin to traverse across the canvas to take in the entire piece.

The painting provides interest through the balancing of courageous energic strokes of red, purple, and white complimented with softer and cool colors of greens and blues.
